Start with the product's 10-digit HTS classification and Column 1 rate, then check China Section 301 coverage, exclusions, Section 232 treatment, the temporary Section 122 surcharge, and any AD/CVD order. Section 122 does not stack on the portion already subject to Section 232.
The February 20 proclamation imposed a temporary 10% surcharge from February 24 through 12:01 a.m. EDT on July 24, 2026, unless suspended, modified, terminated earlier, or extended by Congress.
